The Village of Pender is accepting bids for the 2026 Cemetery Mowing season.  The bid is for mowing the Village of Pender Rose Hill Cemetery (15.4 estimated acres). This includes mowing lower northeast lot, trim around all headstones and fence posts, trees as needed. The Village of Pender will supply mowers, trailers to haul mowers, weed eaters and fuel. The bid should include cleaning the mowers and sharpening the blades.  Please indicate what you would charge for each mowing.  If you would rather use your own equipment, please indicate what you would charge for each mowing.  Also please submit a copy of your proof of insurance.  Please have your sealed bid to the City Office by 5:00 P.M., March 6th, 2026.   City Office address is 614 Main Street, Pender NE  68047. You may also mail bids to P.O. BOX 549 Pender, NE 68047.  Please write mowing bid on outside of envelope. The Village of Pender reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

The Village of Pender is accepting bids for the 2026 lawn treatment service.  The bid is for treating the baseball field, softball field, water treatment plant, fire hall, water tower, the public park and Veterans Memorial. Each location will need two applications (one in the spring, one in the fall) of fertilizer- pre-emerge weed kill and fertilizer weed kill. Rose Hill cemetery will need one application of fertilizer – pre-emerge- weed kill in the spring. Please indicate what you would charge for each location. Please have your sealed bid to the City Office by 5:00 P.M., March 6th, 2026. Village Office address is 614 Main Street, Pender NE  68047. You may also mail bids to P.O.
